The top-selling product in France in 2025 is a six-pack of 1.5 L Cristaline plastic water bottles. Cristaline bottles were also the most common piece of trash we collected in the Brussels canal in 2024. Switching to tap water is one of the simplest ways to save money and reduce plastic pollution!
Groups of students from Saint-Roch Theux et Spa and friends as well as groups of colleagues from Banque Degroof Petercam, BNP Paribas Fortis Belgique, Provincie Antwerpen, stad Halle, Sweco and ING Belgique joined us on the water, kayaking to remove plastic bottles and many other pieces of trash from the canal.
