LUCKILY, in between rain events there is time to go kayakking for the DEPOSITHON. These last days lots of engaged groups joined the ranks.
Future engineers from the Polytechnische Kring at the VUB – Vrije Universiteit Brussel, enjoying their free time after the exams, were lucky to be fishing for trash under a clear bright sun.
Brusseleir Dario from MicroFlavours only had to cross the canal to come from his vertical farming plant to our docking zone. He contributed to a clean canal in front of his door.
Youngsters from 11.11.11 and Jeugddienst Globelink are spending four days in Brussels to follow lots of workshops about activism around the climate crisis. They started their camp on the canal where they saw for themselves the lack of nature and biodiversity. Cities could easily be hubs full of nature if we give it the change to develop itself.
