Between the winds in March and the showers in April, the students from the EEBA Ecole européenne de Bruxelles-Argenteuil and Koninklijk Atheneum Koekelberg were fortunate to have a bit of sunny weather. The KAKoekelberg students were joined by their exchange students from Spain, who had the unique experience of exploring Brussels by kayak. During the activity, some of the students took the initiative to pick up cigarette butts that were scattered everywhere on the ground. These often end up in the water blown by the wind. Wouldn’t it be better to forbid smoking next to waterways?
Meanwhile, the AppTweak: ASO Tool Driven by Data Science team filled multiple trash bins and sorted through all the litter, carefully separating out plastic that could be recycled for our piece of art, Henri, dressed with feathers made out of recycled plastic.
