Imagine this: a clean canal running through Brussels, its waters clear enough to see some of the fish below. Lush and colourful plants grow on the sides, birds like the great crested grebe nest along the banks, and people swim joyfully or glide past in kayaks.
It’s not just a dream, it’s a goal! And step by step, paddle by paddle, we’re getting closer.
Over the past two weeks, groups from Diageo , Candriam , Pfizer België , JNM Brussel , SPF Mobilité et Transports , Capgemini Belgium , D’Broej and Bambaw took to the water not just to enjoy the paddling, but to remove trash and bring us one step closer to a clean and green canal for people and animals to enjoy !
