Our last trips of 2023!🚨 Alert kids, kids on the block! 🚨 We had the pleasure, once again, to share our knowledge with the youngest and welcomed two school groups. One of them combined the kayak exit with a visit to the local incinerator, to gain a much more comprehensive and holistic overview of the city’s waste problems and management. We contributed to their imaginary of what happens if we don’t deal with waste accurately — It ends up in our waterway! Another group of students of the International school of Brussels joined us for voluntary work as an assignment for school.
Collegues from Maison Medicale Antenne Tournesol, also tried, on their turn, healing the canal from plastic pollution.
And last but not least, Martijn’s friend group, decided to host their bi-yearly gathering, together with us on the Brussels’ waters. What a great awareness building activity for a friend group reunion! 🎉
